I'm over the Italian thing

So I took a break... so sue me. It will just make you appreciate my entries that much more.

I was going to devote this entry to the musical stylings of Miss MJ, but given that I still like Ashlee Simpson just as much as I did before, if not way more, I figured that no one would ever take it seriously. And music to me is a serious thing. As serious as Britney's pending nuptials to Mr. Kevin "aw hell, what's another kid?" Federline. No, but really... I'm serious about my musak. Allow me to explain:

Music, to me, is an expression of raw emotion. When I want to be angsty and angry, I listen to Miss Apple. When I need a good cry, I listen to Tori Amos. When When I am woman, and feel like roaring, I listen to Mz. DiFranco, of the Ani variety. When I am consumed with the desire to become more gantsta, I listen to N.E.R.D. with the top down (chrome spinnin'). When I want to pretend I'm a "simple girl in this complex world", I listen to Ashlee Simpson-- who is, apparently, too cool for the "ey" ending. When I'm feeling political (when am I ever not??), I listen to Radiohead. And I can always listen to Counting Crows and know that whatever 'tude I'm sporting that day will instantly go away.

And now I'm tired. So this discussion is to be continued...
