saying goodbye to 11 inches

Holy shit, y'all. I really did it.

My hair is now 11 inches shorter, and though I cannot say that I like the end-result yet... I can say that I feel an overwhelming sense of relief now that it's over.

The lovely people at Oggi (hair salon) were cutting hair for free yesterday, on the condition that you donated a minimum of 10 inches to Locks of Love. And, as most of you know, I planned on donating to this organization once I worked up the nerve... but the nerve never came- until this Friday.

I'm not quite ready to post a picture yet-- call me narcissistic, but my mother always told me: "Your hair is all you have."
